At Knit Nite last night I finished a hat that I had been working on for a friend - he'd been complaining that his wool caps don't keep him warm enough, so I double stranded this one and I really like the results. If you wonder about the pompom for a college kid, fear not - this is by request!
And another little project I finished last week - a little bag crocheted with Deco-Ribbon. I wanted to see what this novelty yarn could do, and I am very pleased with the results - I will most definitely use it again and now feel comfortable carrying it in the shop. I lined it with lazy man's lining, and it worked well. Another techinique that saves time and provides nice results - always a plus in my book. I'm about instant gratification, and at 11:00pm (when I decided to line the bag) I didn't feel like dragging out the sewing machine.
And a shot of the lining to prove to the die-hard seamstresses that it *can* be done without thread!
Oh, and the nap? Yummy. Nothing like snuggling with the boys!
