What a beautiful day it is! We had some snow yesterday and today the sun has been shining in all its yellow glory. We bundled Maddy up in one of her 2 snowsuits (one from each grandparent) and she promptly proceeded to spit up all over it *just* as we finished putting on our big don't-wear-in-the-house boots. So.....we turn around, take off the big don't-wear-in-the-house boots, and put her in the other snowsuit. We go back to the mudroom, put on our big don't-wear-in-the-house boots again, and grab a few cloth diapers just in case. Those of you with spitty wonders understand that truly, spit does happen.
Maddy was less than impressed with out adventure. Timing is everything, folks. She had been napping, and when she started fussing I thought she was ready to be up and about. Apparently it was just an 'I'm not quite comfy' fuss, and mommy misunderstood her cues. The diaper was changed, she was bundled, and then BRR! Cold snowy wind in her face! She put up with it for a few minutes, long enough for us to snap a few pictures, and then she told us in no uncertain terms that it was time to go back inside and finish her nap - and now she would need mommy for some snuggles as well. Ever the loyal servants of our benevolent dictator, that is exactly what we did. :)
